IFC MIDNIGHT ACQUIRES U.S. RIGHTS TO

ANDREW DROZ PALERMO’S ONE & TWO

NEW YORK, NY (May 12, 2015) – IFC Midnight announced today that the
company is acquiring U.S. rights to Andrew Droz Palermo’s ONE & TWO. The
film, with a screenplay by Palermo and Neima Shahdadi, stars Kiernan
Shipka, Timothée Chalamet, Grant Bowler and Elizabeth Reaser. The film was
produced by Kim Sherman, Matthew Perniciaro and Michael Sherman of Bow and
Arrow Entertainment and Protagonist Pictures. The film had its world premiere
in the “Generation” program at the 2015 Berlin International Film Festival,
followed by its US premiere at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival.

ONE & TWOtakes place in a mysterious farmhouse,
where a family of four maintains a routine and isolated existence. As siblings Eva
(Shipka) and Zac (Chalamet) explore unusual abilities and dark family secrets,
their loving mother falls gravely ill, splintering the family and threatening
to tear the children apart.

Says
writer-director Palermo: “I’m thrilled to work with IFC Midnight on the
release of ONE & TWO. Their enthusiasm for our film is palpable and
genuine, and I couldn’t be happier to join their impressive
and ever-growing roster.”

The
deal was negotiated with WME Global on behalf of the filmmakers. Protagonist
Pictures is handling international sales.
