Best Films and Performances from TIFF 2014

We asked forty critics who attended TIFF 2014 to send us their favorites from the festival, from performances to screenplays to directors to the overall films. Participants ranked their top five in eight different categories, with points awarded to each pick based on a reverse five-point scale (five for 1st place, four for 2nd place, three for 3rd place, etc). The results, in eight different categories, represent a wide variety of films from all over the program.
