Six Protagonist titles selected for Sundance 2016

Pictures will attend Sundance 2016 with six films selected across the festival.
Award® nominee Joshua Marston’s newly titled drama COMPLETE UNKOWN, Whit
Stillman’s biting period satire LOVE
, and the hotly anticipated new film from New Zealand
superstar Taika Waititi, HUNT FOR THE
, will all screen in Premieres. Genre genius Rob Zombie comes
blazing into the Midnight programme with 31,
and Rebecca Miller’s MAGGIES PLAN
and Yorgos Lanthimos’ THE LOBSTER will
screen in the Spotlight strand.

Jane Austen’s novella, the beautiful and cunning Lady Susan Vernon visits the

husbands for herself and her daughter. Two young men, handsome Reginald
DeCourcy and wealthy Sir James Martin, severely complicate her plans. Cast:

31 tells
the story of five carnies kidnapped on Halloween morning 1976 and held hostage
in a remote industrial hell. While trapped, they are forced to play a violent
game called 31. The mission is to survive 12 hours against an endless gang of
grease-painted maniacs. Cast Sheri Moon Zombie, Malcolm McDowell, Richard
Brake Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Jeff Daniel Phillips.
