Synopsis

William Masters, a historian, rents a lodge for the summer in the grounds of Fern House in Ireland. Unable to see the truth of the lives around him, he starts an affair with the girl, Ottilie, discovering only later that he is in love with another woman. In the claustrophobic atmosphere of the house and lodge, the emotional pressure on all the characters proves destructive. There is no separate m&e track for this film.
